(sidenote: I’ve been doing Leonie’s workbooks twice as long as I initially reported. 4 Years, not 2! I found one from 2010! I’ve been having so much fun rereading the old books, seeing where I was, and where I am now. I gotta tell ya, it’s good to be here, now.)
Within the Creating your Year Workbook, there is this fabulous little ditty.
100 Things to Do This Year.
They can be little.
They can be big.
They can be super simple, so that if you’re like me and lurve your completed lists, you can do that.
They can be big and complex and practically undoable, if you dig a challenge in your To-Dos.
Whatever we need them to be!
I’m going to share a few of mine here.
from 2010:
21. Howl at the Moon. ARRROOOOOO!!!
37. Chase puppies. Check.
58. Introduce a friend to their soulmate. NoCheck.
77. Wear pigtails. I did that a LOT.
from 2011:
3. Make a blanket fort. Didn’t do it.
24. Have a Harry Potter Marathon. Yupyup.
42. Take a walk barefoot. Did it. Quite a bit.
64. See a shooting star. Yessireebob.
97. Run. Yes.
from 2012:
Evidently my only goal from 2012 was to survive the Apocalypse. Done and DONE! (I can’t find the 2012 workbook.)
from 2013:
1. Try Hot Yoga. Did it. Not nearly as horrific as I expected!
18. Pay off a debt. Yes!
29. Unify workspace. Did it. Worth it. Love it!
39. Compliment a stranger. Gonna keep doing it, cuz it feels sooooo good.
64. Go to a free concert. Didn’t get this one done.
95. Make a mistake. Learn from it. Oh, boy, did I EVER.
And 2014?
I’ve just cracked the book.
First thing on the list? I’m going to get my nose pierced.
You read it here first, folks. I’m going to have someone stab my nose to make it my version of pretty.
And about 99 other things that make me happy.
Wanna make a list of 100 things to do in 2014? Doooo feet! Share it with me! No, you don’t hafta get the Workbook to do it, but it sure makes things fun, and gives you lots of other ideas for the year.
